Muddiest Run Yet!

The Zion Ragnar with an awesome team.

Michelle did the long loop and I did the two short loops before we got rained out at 10PM! We vanned it with Wren.

The morning of the race. Sunshine before the deluge.

The start.

A section of the yellow loop (it was dry when I ran it).

Dust Cloud

Front moves in.

Prius Ralley to Bozeman, MT and Back

The Idahoscape. Near Harriman State Park.

Sunday I drove to Bozeman, MT to see Laura and Matt. Matt and I were planning to hit Cooke City. I left Salt Lake at 4 AM knowing Wren had been fighting a nasty virus. When I got to Bozeman I spoke with Michelle who told me Wren had taken a downturn so I turned around and headed back! (Since Wren has fully recovered).

I did get to have a hearty breakfast with Laura and Matt!

This spring I've had to cancel two awesome ski trips, oh well.

However, a good learning experience if I am to complete the 40-60 year ski project!

My bivouac just south of Idaho Falls. I couldn't pull off the return trip without a sleep break.
Wren is back to looking more like this after a brutal 6 day viral attach! Her Mom and I are much relieved.
This picture is from 3/21/2015, Wren's 1st birthday party! Yum cake.

In Loving Memory of Jack Landon

My Grandfather.

In simple terms, a great man that will be missed.

The Sooner (1947 NCAA Champion Runner Up), VP Kerr-McGee Co., fisherman,
good neighbor, and loving grandfather to 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Microbial Attach!

This past winter, Wren's 1st, we sure have been sick a lot.

Lately Wren has been suffering from an ear infection and viral syndrome. Two days ago we rushed to the ER at St. Marks with no shoes and leaving the front door wide open, after Wren experienced a febrile seizure and fever of 104.7! Her parents were terrified. Yesterday afternoon she began to "shut down" from dehydration, feet and lips were turning blue, sending us to the ER at the Children's Hospital. We were very impressed with the care, service, and expertise, at the Children's Hospital. She seems to be on the mend towards a speedy recovery today.

Remember! LOTS of fluids when your sick.

The patient replenishing her reserves:

Awesome old pic

Awesome old pic

Lack of winter has led to a loss of ski motivation. I hope to overcome the energy barrier this afternoon! This old pic taken in June of the that year helps.
